Anyone experiencing slowness or poor response / weird app problems on their iPhones or iPads - its a worthy upgrade to 11.0.1 now released

My phone feels normal fast speeds again (it was pretty unstable with 11.0)

I just got in from a quick flight and noticed it was crazy slow too on 11.0.

iOS 11 was working fine for me with the spark. What are the reasons for apple to release the upgrade?

some ios devices were fine - others not - I had many apps that ran just fine before IOS 11 just crawl and crash after the first upgrade (close themselves) on IOS 11.0 - over all the phone felt really slow and buggy - 11.0.1 has restored it to full speed again - everything is working great - nothing crashing - feels snappy like IOS10 did -

For me, IOS 11.0 has been one of the worst iOS upgrades I can recall.  Nothing major (and not related to DJI), just lots of little nitpicky type of things.  Hopefully they caught most of that with 11.0.1.

I never do a major upgrade for a few weeks ... too many issues when just released.

Please be aware that hours/days after you upgrade to iOS 11 there is ALOT going on in the background, which can make the phone feel slow / sluggish.

Give it a few days, and it should be back to normal speed.

But when that is said, also make sure you have a newer phone (faster phone), when deciding to upgrade - they are NOT getting faster for each upgrade, and when using it to control an expensive aircraft I would prioritize speed/stability to new iOS 11 features ;-)

The slow sluggish stuff I was experiencing with 11.0 was not normal - installing IOS 11.0.1 completely fixed it - now phone is back to full speed

I've had no issue with using IOS 11 (Beta) since June and now on IOS 11 (public release).  I haven't seen the new IOS 11.0.1 release.

No issues here.

Anyone know how to get gimbal controls on the i phone 6s?

Definitely faster with IOS11.1 and I like the ability to record the screen now too!

My battery on my iPhone 7 was dying twice to three times as fast as normal, I'm going to update now and see if it helps.  I haven't seen speed issues, just the battery

I've seen people report it helps with battery issues too

Since I have upgraded my iPhone 6S to iOS 11, DJI Go 4 no longer connects to my Phantom 4 Pro.  I also have 2 clients who are experiencing the same issue once they update their apple devices to iOS 11.  I am yet to find anyone else on this forum reporting the issue.  I was hoping someone here had this happen and has found a fix.  I am yet to test my Spark to see if it connects.  I am not updating my iPad Mini until everything is working.

Interesting, my iPhone is not showing that as an update option, but I can manually update through iTunes.  I will give it a shot and see if it fixes my issues.  I am currently on iOS 11.0.  Thank you for the help.

An update on this, I was unable to get my iPhone to update to 10.0.1, iTunes actually was failing to download the update without causing a network error.  Instead, I opted to upgrade to the evaluation version of 10.1.  Now my Phantom and Spark are working great.

It did end up helping, my phone seems back to normal with the update!
