Well The FAA  just announced we can't  fly at these places now.

Small drones are being used apparently to drop some sort of incendiary devices in Ukrainian Army ammo depots....There is a security component to all these devices.  But again like gun control, these rules apply to law abiding people, so they don't keep you from flying, just punish you afterwards right?  

If I understand this list, the restrictions are very localized (the Dam of Lake Powell, the Dam of Grand Coulee Dam, the Statue of Liberty, etc).  I can understand these restrictions for safety reasons.  If these are intended to prevent any kind of drone based terrorist attack, then these restrictions are pretty foolish.

Surely national heritage sites need protection for future generations to come ?

JxckSweeney, thanks for your sharing. It is a pity that these places are not allowed to fly. Maybe you can ask for the permission of the local authority.

I am originally from Grand Coulee born and raised.  The dam is beautiful and I will try to get pics when I go to visit my parents soon.  It's a shame you can't fly close as you could before, but with such a big concrete structure, I wouldn't think you really need to.

The All-Spark and Autobots hidden in the Grand Coulee Dam might give of EM Waves that could cause Spars to fly off and disappear, best to leave that space alone!
