This is really simple. DJI is taking its problems (i.e. the FAA and inept drone pilots) and pushing those problems onto you, the customer by adding unnecessary restrictions (i.e. no-fly zones, forced autoland, forced login, altitude limits, etc.). Technically, you are better off having as many options as possible. DJI's log-in-or-you-can't-fly policy is just one of the many ways DJI is limiting those options for their sole benefit. Do you really own your aircraft or does DJI own it?
I agree and I'm freaking sick of it, $1500 and can't fly and record with the DJI GO app since I got it! 4 days ago. Many hours researching forums and uninstalling and re-installing the app. It's a freaking joke and I've had it, I have no choice but to send it back. The problem is when the app opens and I go to sign in I can't because it doesn't present me with a keyboard. Only the tap to speak option and you can't enter your password with it. The whole thing just sucks, no one should have to pend this much time just to use a product I paid $1500 dollars for. It's useless. If no correct fix tonight I'm packing it up and it goes back tomorrow morning asap. |
