H=height D=distance S=speed, these are the only 3 on my app iOS iPhone 7, S will change to V when vertically flying this should give you vertical speed.

I refine my question :  Why the vertical speed is not separately displayed in app during the flight for spark ? In log viewer is diplayed .

And you have a problem with reading height changes in m/s from the changes height during you look at the display?
I really think that to know 3m/s is max vertical speed, means max. 180m/min, shown by the actual height over/under starting point ist enough we need to know on "non rectangle" movings

Mavic have same descent speed on specs. And vertical speed and horizontal are displayed separately in app. And i think will be better to be displayed in the same way for spark.

Not for the author of this thread who apparetly is not interested in competent answers, but for anyone else who might be interested. The "V" stands for "velocity" and not for "vertical". If it is upward or downward movement there is a corresponding arrow right left of the "V". Without arrow it is just the horizontal speed.
P.S. A little bit of thinking or reading before becoming agressive towards other forum members without any reason might prove helpful djiuser_xLE6O03 ;-)

Sorry, I have them both when I see the flight record within the app, not during the flight.

cheers.
