What is your concern?

well my friend....imagine i install the firmware and lots of problems pop up. Also, there's no release note on the firmware and i have no idea on what has been corrected. for example:

1) ISO stuck at 800 in d-log
2) RAW pictures a bit out of focus
3) 1920 x 1080 videos muddy and not crisp

etc.

So....that's pretty much my concern. Any ideas if a relesea note will be published!?

and not for 2017-09-30 v01.02.02.00

mark....that's an OLD release note. it's from JUNE, and firmware was V 01.04.0602.

New firmware and date are: v01.02.02.00 / 2017-09-30

Jesus, this forum is a disaster.  Can't get proper information and there are countless cases where updates caused a whole load of problems and this forum has produced zero answers.

Is there a problem we did not answer for you? In fact, we do our best to resolve many issues and have found solutions that resulted in saved time for all. However, it is not a perfect science. If there was an issue we did not address correctly for you, can you post it now?

Well it might be less of a disaster if your first post were a bit more constructive, at least you now know that there are no official release notes for the latest P4 Pro + RC firmware

Mark....it’s about common sense and not on been “reactive”. As you can see, someone inside dji forgot to put that release note and....which is a pitty....not even you know about this.

I love dji products.....but my friend....customer service sucks! I know you just work there and it’s not your fault and i’m not blaming you over this.

There’s a new update....still....i don’t know what has been corrected or improoved.

The question about the release notes was for the recent (9-30-2017) firmware for the P4P+ model aircraft. This release is for the Plus model only and I also would like to know what issues it addresses before I install it. Your previous response dealt with the last firmware released for the P4P back in June so that is where the confusion comes in. We owners of the Plus model have been waiting for a new firmware due to many problems we have been having with the current firmware but before installing this new version (01.02.02.00) we would like to know what it fixes or adds?

Still.....no relesase note yet.

Have a friend that installed the update. Photos are a bit out of focus and focusing takes more time than before. It’s a real pitty that still no release note is available for the new firmware.

So Mark keeps bashing people for being right, when in fact hes the one being wrong? Thats helpful.
There are no release notes for the lateste FW as of September.
Was it not suppose to be released, or is it meant to be a snake surprise?

I would think that the problem is that more than once are we pointed to release notes that is way outdated, where do we find the release notes with what has been changed for the latest 1.2.2.0 fw for GL300E, also there is no notes regarding v.1.2.1 that brought the App v. 4.1.4 that had among other changes some old defect map handling routines back in the app.

Can we please know what you have removed at 1.2.2.0 in order to improve your unwanted buggy NFZ circus?

Nope, beginning to think that their revision control is so messy that they really don't know them self what got changed. :-(

Hello, I want to expose the problems I have with my p4p+ and hope you can put some pressure on engineers to solve it and release a new firmware:

-recording in 4k60fps log custom WB, whenever I loose signal from drone and get the signal back, the WB always changes to AUTO, I have sent this issue via email and the answer was to wait... well I have waited several months and the last update did not solved anything, it is still reseting the WB to auto

-when starting remote and aircraft takes ages until app starts, every single time does a start-up verification (why is it needed if the remote is the same...)  that takes ages and had made me lost some critical shots just by changing battery

-Some controls like aperture work scrolling up or down to increase or decrease but others like iso or EV just are inverted, it makes no sense, it is not intuitive at all, didn't anybody from dji testers detected this issue yet? How come?

-in low light we need to use manual focus, the manual focus toogle is a very confusing button is hard understanding witch side is macro and landscape, during the day is easy to see what is focused but at night we need to set it to infinity and we need to understand witch position means infinity


-i have noticed that my mavic when shooting in log allows to activate a live colourful preview but still records in flat colour log... it is a mavic, why doesn't my VERY EXPENSIVE P4PRO PLUS do the same?


-lost already 2 led plastic covers from the front arms with zero crashes, they just drop when flying

I will be a much more satisfied customer if you can help me DJI, I understand that most of this issues go unnoticed by the majority but I fly every day all day and this bugs are really annoying if you deal with them for the last 6 months
