After being assurred in a previous thread that there is no RTH for low battery I now know from experience that there is. I lost my first spark in a tree as it just took off. Thought it was a fly away. Got it back damaged. Sent it in for refresh. Got it back. Same thing happened but this time I was able to react to the RTH dialog and got it back safely. Watch your battery if you are flying under trees.
I have had this happen to me too, but lucky enough that it only nicked a few leaves. I now keep an eye on my battery level and try not to fly far away after my battery hits 50% or less. So far I've had no issues following my new personal rules. Oh, and I try to stay above the trees not underneath them.
Every Spark pilot should invest a few minutes of learning RTH ahead of time to save a bunch of time and heartache down the road. The manual is a great place to learn or I've also put together a video tutorial. Check it out if interested in learning more:
Also, can you post a link to the original thread you were told this information? It would be good for us to correct the information so that someone doesn't read it in the future thinking it is correct!

Your video is awesome. It clarified many aspects of he RTH. Thanks again for another awesome video
It's beneficial to do both: Read the manual and practice the maneuver. The manual will provide the knowledge, but no experience. And if other people are like me, I might read the manual three or four times and still not "get it".
