When I try run DJI GO v3.1.11 on my tablet SAMSUNG SM-T555 (now running Android v7.1.1) it crashing on me left and right during the pre-flight. when I open the app goes to the main screen and the pictures of the drones just jump through the menu and I can never click on my Phantom 3 STD. I am wondering if anyone else has found a solution to this issue, I have updated to the latest version of Android and I have disabled all apps other than DJI, as this device is just for the drone and nothing else.
With the previous version of Android I have never had a problem of crashes or malfunctions of the App DJI GO
Crash LOG folder on my device/internal memory/DJI/dji.pilot/LOG/CRASH....is empty

I have the same problem with any android on 7.1.1  no matter what make. I have an Acer running on Android 6.0 and it works perfectly.
Some say if you put the android into flight mode and then connect it works, but I haven't had any success with that.

Have you tried an ios device?

I have other devices with Android 7.1.1 (xiaomi) and it works fine!

It could be the compatible issue. You can try to reinstall the app, switch the device to airplane mode. If it doesn't help, you might need to use Xiaomi then.

While waiting for DJI to solve the problem of APP crash, I tried to do the samsung SM-T555's firmware dowgrade but unfortunately no results.
