I have a Phantom 1 with with an H3-3D gimbal but I can only get the gimbal to point the camera straingh down or straight ahead, nohing in between.

Any ideas on what my problem might be?

I'm stuck in the same boat. I fired everything up long enough to check for settings based on most recent advice.

I also can't find the menu setting that lets me move my Gimbal up. It looks like it's just a tad higher than straight level, but nowhere near 30-degrees upward.

Frankly, I'm not sure if I really want that setting, but I should be able to get it. I tried futzing with the gimbal roll but that seems to have no effect.
