Ok bit the bullet and upgraded my P4 and RC doing exactly as my son did I got the two notifications when updating the p4 saying something about not compatible just pressed ok and it carried on till it said complete...calibrated IMU
went and test flew it 100% perfect steady as a rock
I followed this guide by my son..

I was on V01.02.0602 now on the newest that's available v02.00.0106, didn't check what RC was on 1.8.0 I think again just updated to latest version it offered me v1.9.2.0 I think to be honest it just tells you what its going to install..

Bruno thanks very much.. Now I have an aircraft issue that is bothering me.. The frequency button keeps on blinking red.. I have formatted the SD card and still behaves the same way... I have updated the firmware and it finished successfully on both rc and drone.. What could be the issue?  Drone is flying fine

I am having the exact same issue as ELECTROMAPS in post #3 with my P4.  My AC is running the 2.0 firmware and the RC and AC currently are having transmission issues.  Constant interruptions, RC light rapidly flashing red/orange, yellow, status changing between No Image Transmission and Week Image Transmission.
I've tried DJI Susans advice in post #4 but the RC firmware remains at 1.6.0.  The available options to upgrade/downgrade the RC firmware are 1.5.8, 1.6.0, 1.8.0.  I have been able to successfully downgrade to 1.5.8 and upgrade to 1.6.0, just not the 1.8.0 version.  It doesn't stick.  It appears to install succesfully taking only about 10 seconds, but then after restarting the RC, it continues to show 1.6.0.


I wish there was a way I could downgrade the AC back to the 1.0 firmware, but using DJI Assistant 2 there doesn't seem to be an option to downgrade.
As a last resort, I stumbled across https://nolimitdronez.com.  Haven't gone this route yet but am very tempted to give it a try if DJI can't offer support.  Anyone else having this issue or tried the NLD MOD app?  I'm dying to get my drone back in the air.  Please help!
