Does anyone know if there is a way to make the pilot's camera go full screen on controller #1, which the gimbal operator views the gimbal camera on controller #2? -or-
Is there a way to make the HDMI signal display the pilot's camera feed?

I have seen this asked before and the answer has always been "no". The best you can do is tap it to enlarge but that's it.

Yes it was possible, before .240 firmware update...

So it seems FW update is going backward most of the time.

DJI remove functions that we need :-/

Making the FPV camera view full screen was never an option. I have had my Inspire 2 since January of this year and have never had that option.

@Cobra , it was possible ! We was able to swiitch fpv-cam to x5s-cam from remote pilot and in full screen by hdmi out.
This option was in DjiGo4 before february 2017 update.

By full screen, do you mean only image is displayed without any OSD info? There is ''Full screen'' can be selected in General Settings.

Thank you Mindy !  I dont know that because  my I2 fly with 0.330 firmware (no interference and many others good things...)

Can we switch cam-fpv to x5s via hdmi out ?

You can switch to FPV view in APP, then you will see FPV input in HDMI display screen.
