The X7 only works with the Inspire2 at this time, as the cinecore processing unit is inside the Inspire2, not the camera itself.

Thank you Mindy for the reply, hope you are right. When I look at the various modes available there is only 2 H264/H265 modes in Cinecore 2.1. much more to pick from in Cinecore 2. So my concern was that, all users of X5S Camera, that only use SD cards and not recording to SSD, would be severely restricted if the update was implemented for all.

Will there be more lenses available in the future?

Will we need to pay for an additional RAW license when we upgrade to the latest Cinecore??

Go to the X7 page...click on specs...go down to video...you will see that all of the H264/H265 modes are listed.  I don't know why they left them out of the chart that is white text on black background.

You get different H264/H265 modes with different aspect ratios.

Thank you for that, great news.
EDIT: On second thaught, what is correct? The camera specs indicate it support many different modes but the screen shot only 2 (1 in H264 and 1 in H265). Could it be what the camera is capable of but not implemented in Cinecore 2.1 fw? Like to have that clarifyed by DJI.

Currently, the Zenmuse X7 is only compatible with our own lens, for more updates in the future, please note our website.
You don't need to purchase another license for X7.

Like I posted before, the estimated shipping date is 15-20 business days after payment confirmation. While the propellers is out of stock in local facility, I'm afraid you will still need to wait, really sorry for that.

Love the addition of a S35mm camera system for the I2.  The dji primes look good too but very expensive for a f/2.8 aperture. I understand they are custom made for the X7, but I know DJI will release f/1.8 or even f/1.4 glass in the future.

Sorry that we have no additional info on this point, I also hope we can release more lens for customers for better experience.

Hi Mindy. I'm greatly looking forward to seeing a sample RAW still taken in photo mode at max resolution.  Is this something that DJI will release or will potential customers need to wait and get one from someone who has already purchased it.  Thank you.

Thank you very much!  I noticed today that 3 files were aded, O1_lightbulb, 02_skintone and 03_flower.  From the aspect ratio and the size of the files (6.9mb), my guess is that these were .DNG frames captured in a movie sequence.  The full res RAW files that came off the X5S were in the neighborhood of 28mb.  When you have time (NO RUSH!), we would love to see an uncompressed .DNG still.  Thank you and again, we're happy to wait.

PS.  The 3 files that were uploaded looked very nice.

I agree the samples look great but would love to see a full 6016 x 4008 sample still dng taken from the air to check detail.

a game changer on so many levels.
would buy it right away if they announce this kind of compability / ease of use.

Imagine having a camera this light, stabilized, with raw / prores capacity for less
than 2kg ?! add on top the focus wheel and you have a setup ready for events, documentaries and such..!

Oh I know that you don't have more info for now..
I'm just hoping that this is going to come at some point, just the idea
of shooting prores with s35sensor handled within such a small package
is what's making me wait before investing in some other equipment ..

I see, I also hope we will have this small handled gimbal with S35 sensor to be released, that would be great but also a challenge.
Let's see if it will be available in the future.

i checked the dji x7: its for 6K 6016 x 3200. but the cinessd for the inspire2 record only 5280 x 2970. what is the solution to record 6k?
