Has anyone used a set of cheap VR goggles with there P3S.
I have just purchased a set and think I'll give them a try on an open 3 acres lot with maybe a spotter.
If u have any experience with, would appreciate your experience.. Good or bad

I think you can use every cheap VR for your phone, I have the app "FPV camera for dji". That app has lots of features, mission planner, 3d and also fpv.
Than you put your phone in the classes and you have fpv

As long as its a DIY set of Goggles that accepts a Phone as its display - then no need for any adaptors WiFi to Goggle etc.

But to be honest .... I would not risk it !! My experience with DJI FPV leaves me to think putting goggles on could lead to an incident !!

A spotter is a must. I tried it. Once. You have no peripheral vision whatsoever. Didn't like it, and haven't been tempted to again. I used Litchi.

i was so  geeked about FPV with goggles (Litchi App).   After several flights it was way too disorienting for me.  I found it not worth a crash or worse an injury.  But some people swear by it and love it.

the way it sounds its sounds like a one time adventure, kinda like licking a metal pole in min 30 cel weather lol (maybe not so bad but not something you'd do over and over )

I think I'll set up a mission to fly then use the goggles that way I can just enjoy the flight without worrying about clearance and obstacles, set up around 30 meters in a field... Should be safe enough that way

If this works, that would be the way to go.

Wont work. You must pick  waypoint mission, fpv or Vr. Once picked the vr option disappears. Nice idea though and unique. I'd of tried it if it worked.

Glad these are cheap goggles, probably be a one time, 100 meter, open field experiment for 5 min or so and put em away and forget em lol

Gottta try it at least once. One problem when by yourself, the aircraft has to be in hover before putting the phone in the goggles. Something like that. Was awkward. Cant quite recall what the issue was, but open field, and friend if you've got one One guy I know tried it and instantly was flying up a wooded path!! I had to remind him if the ac lost control signal, it would rth up into the overhanging trees!

Yup, no trees, no water.... Open field lol
