Hi Guys

we have just got are Ronin 2 and first impressions are good! a lot better than the original ronin. Well done DJI!

when i was testing the touch panel it dosent respond to touch inputs, but all the buttons work.

not use if this a firmware issue or do i need to send it back?

Can you check to see if the firmware is up to date? Did you download the Ronin 2 App?

After reviewing more on the Ronin 2, the touchscreen itself is not where you need to go. Consider the dial below and select on the dial.

yes i did, the ronin 2 is on V1.0.5.0 and the ronin 2 app is 1.0.1(104)

yes i know that. thats how i have been using the ronin 2 buy using the dial,

but the screen itself is it a touchscreen or non touchscreen?

or will it become a touchscreen with a later firmware?

It's not a touch screen. That is how you have to operate it. There would not be an update to change this.

ok it just strange as there a lot of videos online talking about the "touchscreen" also DJI official ronin 2 video calls it a "touchscreen" link below

Does anyone know what the current firmware is supposed to be?
The Power Block isn't working and I'm wondering if it's a firmware issue.

My app Ronin sees my Ronin but he does not want to connect.

Has anyone encountered this problem?

Just to clarify, are you unable to get into the Ronin 2's built in app or the Ronin Assistant app on your iPhone?

Same here, brand new unit, going back to the shop tomorrow for replacement.

Clearly says "touch screen here"
So its not working then...

I got confirmation from one of the product managers, that they have temporarily disabled it until future fw update is polished, screen even flips when in inverted mode...

Till September today touch screen consent work . I don't care about it but why make a false claim . My fingers is 1.0 I just bought it a month back

don´t really get it why there are still so many advertised things missing : touch screen , red rcp control ...
I have to say I don´t really care about the touch screen but red control was one thing that sold me on buying the ronin2. Even worse with the inspire 2 and promised multiple slave controllers - now they release a new product I have to buy to make that work !? Feels wrong to me

if this really is untrue - DJI needs to NOT advertise functionalities that are NEVER meant to work.

can you control anything besides start/stop ? you not get the message rcp will be added with future firmware ?  what camera settings are you talking about ... I got start/stop working but that´s just the
the beginning of what should be possible ... i want foolcontrol like usability ....

I am also using start stop recording I am not aware what else we can control with remote

I have the exact same problem! what is going on here DJI?

This button doesn’t work to go back and neither does the button on the right side. Does anyone know how to fix this, can it be repaired on our end, or does this have to be sent in to DJI? To exit out of the screen you have to turn off the unit and restart it.
