Heck yeah! I would love to have one, looks like a real fun.  Imagine having your drone track you when you ride that.

Really !! Imagine if DJI build one... Start your engine and then... please update your firmware...

Just a joke but i don't feel secure with my mavic. Every flight is : "What will happen this time, video issue or flying issue ?."

Don't want to downgrade firmware but thinking to stay at the next stable firmware and never update again.

One motor on each corner! One of those burns out, so do you. Nice idea though.

I'd rather the Ehang 184 but at $300,000 for a drone it's perhaps a tad expensive and doesn't even do 4K LOL but it will fly you intercity!

Also, what do you say when you make a sharp turn and, with no seat belt, fall off of it mid flight? Ooops! or Oooooooooooooooooops...splat! Then your lost foot splats 10 seconds later.

With all the postings about Mavic crashes, I suspect we'll be seeing some stories about that happening with this thing too.  And can you imagine what would happen to a cop who forgets where his leg is relative to the props?  Ouch!  ;)

Don't you think they thought it about the issue???  They will transfer the weight to the other side and compensate and then land. Done!

Buggar!!  Or

Same answer as above. For stretching, the blade is higher than the knees so they would stretch

What a funny idea! Maybe it will come up in the future.

It is a working prototype so it is not an idea anymore. Plus they have already started building the facility!

DJI is lacking behind spending their time playing around with tiny drones and worrying about who register or NOTand they are missing the big picture and the fast train...

Most likely they will have one or they will have the parachute deploy and save the motodrone and the pilot.

The props are higher than the knee level and as far as falling, am sure, they will have a parachute system to protect their cops. They spent millions to have a Bogaty in service I don't think they will not spend few thousands to protect their cops and investment.

Um, look again.  I viewed this on my 22 inch monitor with the display set to "full width".   Those props are leg high.  Now there are a some simple "guards" that look like they'll prevent the rider from moving his leg into the prop path, but there are also no prop guards on that thing.  Mighty easy for an accident to happen.  But, as you say, they'll put some thought into rider safety.

We are talking about stretching! When you stretch you extend your leg downward so it is going to be below the props but as you said there are guards in front of the knee and also behind the foot.
