Yes, thats the version I'm using. I'll use an alternate till the new version is released.

Upon further mulling it over, is it possible to downgrade the P4 and the Controller back to the July firmware release (I know the P4 itself can, but unsure of the Controller). At that point in time everything seemed to be working OK (including Litchi once they had the update info).

It is not suggested to downgrade, sorry about this. Our engineers are working on the APP issue and will fix it soon.

No, my email was referred to the .0600. Anyway I will try to get the logs. There are 3 betas: .0200 (a scary disaster), .0300 (solved the camera in flight resetting issue) and .0600 (I asked for flight instructions to send thr logs). This is my request

The beta is only for the aircraft, instead of RC. If you have several batteries, there will be reminder if different firmware are detected. You can slide the bar to refresh.

Yep, you're right P - this thread is about the P4S beta v...600.  But just an FYI that there is also an unrelated beta available for the P4P (v...608) which fixes a gimbal shake issue.

Hey Dan, the beta we mentioned here is only for Phantom 4. Could you be more specific of your main issue of P4P? We'd like to see whether we can help.

Abrupt braking when flying to the left, but not as hard as in the beta .0200. Props on air in full forward throttle in p mode. Terrain follow didn't work. IMU calibration advise when warming is still present. Top speed in s mode is slower. Otherwise hovering and the whole flight was very stable, the rest of braking issues, and camera issues are solved, the footage definition is good. I did another flight in windy conditions with good performance, but flying mostly with Litchi waypoints at a 1.1 km/h speed to do an hyperlapse video. Not a good test.

   Did a brief test flight today of the P4 with the newly released GO 4 app. The birds firmware was at the latest Official July release. Both the RTH Altitude and custom channel select appear to be working Ok now.

Thanks Pareja, just hope they can fix it now once and for all. Must be difficult because of the different reactions of the Drones, but they build it, then they can fix it.

Finally, I dared to test the .0600 beta firmware. Stability has improved a lot, still props on air in full throttle p mode and some shaking when braking to the left, but minor problems. I'm very happy today. Still waiting for the new firmware, but, at last, my bird is stable enough to fly without fears about security

Thanks DJI Susan! I restarted the drone after that incident and I could fly again. When I got home I refreshed the firmware and I performed gimbal calibration. Are you suggesting to move to the latest BETA or to wait?

There is no need to test the beta as it only fix the wobble and camera issue as we discussed before.

I have tested the follow me and it functioned fine as reported in this thread yesterday

D368%26typeid%3D368  As another poster mentioned I did experience one time when bringing in the Phantom straight at me  from 300 feet and while descending to 12 feet  in front of me it stopped when I left of the sticks and slowly rose about 5 or 6 feet before settling back down. Could not repeat that so who knows.  Testing again in a few minutes.
