I know someone said that the Professional model also came with a backpack but the backpack is not showing that it is included on the webpage for either model?

DJI has already stated that the Professional comes with a backpack.

GREAT!  I was concerned though since it was not listed "IN THE BOX" or in the Specs....

I tried to order from DJI but it would not go through .Tried live chat ,no luck .Got it via Amazon .No charge until it ships .

I have a trip coming up in early May, and I would like to maximize my chance of getting it before the trip. Should I buy it directly off of DJI store, or go with a reseller? What is the shipping speed from DJI store to mainland United States?

I ordered my P2 directly from the site and it arrived in I think it was 4 or 5 business days. It arrived a day earlier than what the tracking number showed too.

Any idea if I can pre-order this one @bhphotovideo. Thanks.

Also, my order is showing up as "Payment Reviewing" in DJI store. Is this normally the case?

Pre-ordered mine through Amazon... but no mention of backpack

Yes, but B&H will not get theirs for shipping until May. This also happened with the Inspire 1, they only got them about 5 weeks ago! They'll be about 1 month or more behind DJI itself (big surprise??).

I had ordered the P3PRO from DJI and they immediately charged my card for the full amount, unlike Amazon, and then told me that my wait time was until mid-May or later. I cancelled my order and placed one with Amazon who offered me a no-interest payment deal and $70 off the order.  The best part is that they won't charge until they ship in mid-May, so I don't have payment or intrest for items not yet received.

Tahoe_ed, since i have read that you have been flying the Phantom 3 for like a week, can you tell if in windy conditions or wind, the legs of the phantom come in the photo or video??

We didn't get the backpack and now that the Advanced's camera has been upgraded to 2K I feel the price difference between the Pro and Adv is too great! When can we expect a refund of the difference? Or some other compensation?

Specifications change between announcement and introduction.  Is there a point to your dredging up threads from the past?  This has all been discussed months ago.

OMG,  there is a whole CR*P load of old stuff showing up!  I was losing my mind and patience trying find a interesting post that I saw on my phone and didn't have to read it at lunch!  Thanks for clarifying what was going on, ED.   Stop it People!  Sigh...

What, you folks didn't get a free @DJI back pack?  I GOT MINE.
I bought it at a Staples outlet. Hahaha

Great little storage container & Phantom 3 carrying solution. All in one.
I wouldn't leave home without it. . .  ;-)
