How often should I calibrate my compass and IMU?

When you fly in a new place or "compass error" appears in your app, please calibrate your compass.
In addition, If the image of your app is not level or your drone drifts when it hovers, please calibrate the IMU. Any question, please feel free to ask for help.

When you fly in a new place or your drone can not fly in a straight line, you can try to calibrate the compass.

Hi Elektra, does DJI recommend to do the calibration when the Spark has heated up (after e.g. 5min on your desk. The internal sensor board has reached its normal operating temperature, the offset/gain of each sensor has swung in). Or when it is started up? Thanks, Michael.

If you failed to calibrate IMU, we would recommend you cool down your AC and do it again. And please put your AC in the flat before calibration.
