Could anyone tell me if a Phantom 4 Remote Controller would work on a Phantom 4 pro Air Craft?

Ps:-  I live in the UK so EU rules apply as 2.4mhz signal and think the phantom 4 only has this 2.4 and not 5.8mhz , where the 4 pro has both?
I don’t know if that makes any difference?

Updated - I have now read the Faq file at DJI and they say the Phantom 4 RC is not compatable with the 4 Pro at the moment.So that's that, maybe in a future firmware it maybe?

Dave, the P4 RC is not compatible with P4P aircraft currently. This request has been forwarded to our engineers for further consideration.
