Wow, these are great pictures, thank you very much for sharing! Right now I am actually not that far away from you, have arrived on mission in Manila last night and of course Spark is with me. But I doubt that I'll be able to deliver results like yours...

Someday I'll visit my country again.  Did you have a hard time bringing your drone in to Manila?

No problem at all to bring it here! Just drone regulations are very unclear and do not distinguish between big and small ones. Thus I shall be very careful where to fly and if I consider it advisable, will ask Police for permission before taking off.

Thanks!

I had a couple of times really trouble to get arround the "compass problem"
All of the area close/around the Marina Bay is a wooden deck on a steel construction.
I calibrated and still "Compass trouble"

The Spark really needed to be away from the deck, so 20-30cm minimum.
In the end I had to start the Spark from my hand, to get it in the air.
I did not "palmstart", I used the "take off slider"
And really need to put some kind of a lanyard to the RC, methinks.

It seems to be very simple (no responsibility from my side for anything "not no simple" !!) :

http://www.uavsystemsinternational.com/drone-laws-by-country/singapore-drone-laws/

Look for the kite areas!
There you should be good with common sense!

https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6Ylg8iuVDjo/V5ul9zFzDQI/AAAAAAAADAE/K0pt7iyqz7ISfF5sn2qwqKhdv4id1wy4gCLcB/s1600/area-limits-2.jpg

If you like a aerial video from before 2015 and would like to go/fly there (2015 some drone law got set up):
Check on the location, if is still available by law.

Check website from locations you wanna fly, Gardens by the Bay p.ex. says "no drones"
Sentosas Website is saying "For the safety of all guests, please do not fly drones or other remote-control flying devices in Sentosa."
But I did not try out if this really only means "please dont" or more a polite "NO!"

And on the walkway to Sentosa, I experienced the first time so much compass trouble, that I could not start there.
When I decided that I should start from my hand, the light was gone ;-(

And where they really dont want drones :
(I saw only this one, at the flyer. After I flew on the other side of the "F1 track", mostly over water anyway)

Awesome pics! I'm just getting back from Singapore myself  (actually still at the airport at the moment) and got some great footage and what better place to share! I was really careful and did not see any signs whatsoever about no drones allowed. I think the laws there are a little ambiguous. The only time I got stopped was just in front of Marina Bay Sands just as I was about to take off. The security guard came up and was super polite. I simply told him I didn't know and was more than happy to go somewhere else, he even pointed out where I could go. I went early to Sentosa so there was nobody to bother or be bothered by. Oh, and btw, I ALSO got the compass error at the exact same place. Crazy! I calibrated, took off, got the error, came right back down and went off to the side of the building. I got 3 hours of footage, here are the best parts. Enjoy!

It was cheap and "to Singapore" in the one sentence. ;-)
Come on, under 500 euros from Norway/Oslo to Spore isnt that bad.
Combine it with a longer holidaytrip to SEA, dronie-stopovers, and it will pay out.
