No mystery here;  he's obviously purchased the new stealth skin.  Very impressive results.  Now if they could just do something about the noise...

Aha, a transparent skin, cool, the noise can be solved just as effectively, turn off the rotors then it is real stealth.

Finely some one has figured out how the Klingons in Star Track cloaked there ship and applied it to drone technology. My question is how do you keep this drone in you vision when you are flying.

Apparently the drone is registered in Estonia. See Estonian national flag.

Are you sure about that?  An OP can delete an entire thread even when there are replies?  I didn't think that was possible, and I certainly don't see such a link on threads I have started.

UH...it appears I have foot-in-mouth disease...
I could swear awhile back that an experienced poster told me it could be done.  However, upon checking, based on your question, I'll be darned if I can see how.  In other words you cannot, if there are replies.
I did some quick tests, and apparently you can delete a thread Draft and a new thread without comments, but once there are replies then you are no longer able to do so.  You can delete replies too, as long as they are yours of course and FYI there it does deduct points off if you do so.
SOOO, nope I'm not sure anymore, and it appears you cannot as I noted anyway.  Now I'm gonna go wash this shoe leather out of my mouth thank you...

I can't delete any of my replies.  Either you gotta be a 'First Officer' to do that, or someone better get used to that leather taste.

OH Arch you are sooo needy
I don't know what level you have to be, but I'm pretty sure it is a fairly low level that that capability starts.

Here is what you have to do:
Go to your post/reply
Select Edit - the little pencil icon
Once you are in the edit window look down and to the left
You will see the words "Additional options" it's a link
Select it
Then you will see a bunch of options, one of which is a delete this post button
Hit the button and whala!  it will be gone, along with the points you got for making it
It cannot be brought back, but you can make a new one...

Now I'm gonna go have a steak, thank you

Thanks.  Why do they need to hide stuff?  Judas.  I'd go eat some leather but I am vegetarian.  I shall have my mistress administer an extra spanking instead.

Arch a vegiasorous whaaaat???

Yeah, tell your mistress to be gentle

Well, my guess on hiding is to avoid conflict maybe or just to get private info or advice for them only, maybe?
I noticed Quadpilot is using an option in the thread "home made drone flying caution signs" where the replies are only being seen by the author.  Not sure why they are doing that for a post like that, but they are.

Yeah, I noticed that.  So that's an option that anyone can select?  I figured he just went crying to a moderator and they locked it down for him so he wouldn't continue to get his little feelings hurt.

Nope, he has that control LOL!

Check all those options I showed you, that option is in there...
I'm sure the mods could do more, but I'd think they'd just close it down altogether first...

TRUE
You also get a different set of permissions for a reply versus a thread posting
Also check out Read Permissions, I think that is what Quadpilot is using, I think...
What is funny now is he's replying on his thread, why, I don't know as no one can see them except maybe him as the thread owner.  Also the posters of their own replies can see what they posted, but nothing more than the original thread post.  Maybe he's playing around with it???

He's not just playing around with it.  He apparently just got fed up with being publicly ridiculed by multiple respondents for his half-baked nutcase idea.  While it's not possible to delete an entire thread, he has managed to effectively do just that.  I'd say it worked out just the way he wanted it to... he knows what he's doing.

As for him replying to it when no one can see, yeah I can't figure that one out either.  Maybe he'll make the thread visible again after he gets his mommy to help him craft clever comebacks to each post on the thread.
