Does DJI have plans for a Spark 2? If so what will it offer? 4K? lighter (under 250g)? faster? folding arms like mavic?
What would we all like to see?

yes! for sure.  At about £50 for 12 minutes it gets quite bulky and expensive to buy and carry enough batteries for a good day out....

Personally, in the next generation I would love to see a dual camera (like some new mobiles have): one with wide-angle lens (say equivalent of 25mm) as the current model has and the other with a short telephoto lens (say equivalent to ~135mm). Plus a possibility to switch between them when taking photos/filming. Such a feature would make me buy a new model. Just a slightly longer flying time - would not.

I think our batteries won't come off if you install them correctly. If you experience this problem, please provide us the flight data to locate the problem.

I haven't had any issues with batteries, I think people are not following correct procedures

well just do a quick google search and also on this forum.
Multiple users complain that their battery fall out during flight and crashed their spark.
I guy posted a video were you can hear the battery click but he can still easily remove it without the unlocking clips

Hopefully we will get new battery before Spark 2, 20 minutes with 17 minutes flying time would be great.

Ocusync. Folding arms to further reduce the pack size. 3rd gimbal prob never going to happen as too small and it’s battery hungry. Different frame rates, raw and choice of color profiles. 4K I guess too.

Folding arms and longer battery life. I realise you can already get both of those with the Mavic, but I really prefer the smaller size of the Spark.
Also, unleash the beast and let us go faster. I love flying my Spark in sport mode.

If it comes to the point where you are pulling on your battery to force it out once it's clicked on, you've been doing wrong for quite some time.

It only takes one hard pull on those plastic clips to prevent them from working properly anymore.  Also, there seems to be a problem with people not actually sliding the batteries on all the way.  And that's exactly why they come off in flight.

Trying to forcefully pull the battery out to make a point is only making things worse.  Just don't do it.

And as wedged in as the battery is once it's properly inserted, flying shouldn't be an issue.  There aren't any hard changes in direction you can do that would force the battery and the Spark to move in opposite directions.  They move in the same direction, at the same speed.

Yep. 2 way is ok and even better if put through stability control software but 3 like mavic etc would be substantially heavier and do horrible things to battery life.

20 min battery and 3 axis gimbal would seal it for me.
Otherwise, I'm probably going to upgrade to a Mavic.

they shouldn't come off period , the design is weak and my recent experiences show many crashed Sparks because of this failure.

i spent a week recently at DJI in Shenzhen , its a big problem DJI know this.

the older the batteries become the more of this problem we will see.

agreed , the plastic on the battery lock is too soft and prone to damage and wear.

Definitely. I will post some examples of 25fps vs 30fps footage soon. It really looks horrible when there is artificial light involved.
Even at 1/30th shutterspeed.

If you could increase the battery life by making the Drone half an inch longer and half an inch wider I think that would be an acceptable trade-off.

Foldable arms on the spark be pretty sick(that means good!).
