Well went out to one of my favorite haunts with the Mavic, 2nd battery in and was flying around when the camera got a mind of its own, no settings were changed from takeoff, Full Auto Mode, MP4, 4K 2160. I changed direction many time but could not shake off the what seems to be overexposure?


When I got back, reset all camera settings to default and set video to MP4, no other changes were made. Then this is what I got from the HUD / Go 4

Any Suggestions?

May be a dumb suggestion, but did you tap and hold to let the camera focus? This happened once to me (not as bad as yours) and this fixed it for me.

Auto white balance is iffy sometimes - have had this issue myself - fixed by selecting sunny as the WB and using an ND8 filter.

Thanks for the answers above, please try changing the balance or color on camera setting. For the red spots you got, you can also select the peak focus to none to disable it.

Thanks all, Yup it was the Focus Threshold set to Manual (must of been me in my endless tinkering with the settings) all back to normal. Preciate Ya!

Peak focus threshold has nothing to do with the auto exposure issue, it's just red highlights to show you what's in focus?
