Hi guys,

As I've started having compass/GPS issues these days (I'm working on reproducing them), I read a lot of people saying we should "train ATTI".
Is it possible to do it with the Spark? Like having an option to temporarily disable GPS guidance for a while, while keeping the hability to do an RTH.

So the drone still knows where it is, but no using it to correct its position.

If not, what would you advice to train ATTI ?

Thanks!

to my knowledge, this is not possible - i just purchased a Cheerson CX-23 for the same purpose, since it has an ATTI mode switch right on the controller

You would be best advised to buy a cheap quad there are many on the market $50\$100 there great fun and will give you a true reflection of flying Atti mode if you can tame these you will not have much problem if your spark goes to Atti mode.

I would definitively go for a $50 drone, but the  Cheerson CX-23 seems quite expensive for just training ATTI.
What would you buy?

Interesting.
I just read someone wrapped foil on the back of the spark and it blocks the signal therefore forcing atti mode.

There is no option for closing GPS. Unlikely phantom, spark and mavic doesn't have ATTI mode. I would not recommend you train ATTI mode with spark. If you want to fly indoor, propeller guards are needed.

You can buy a cheap drone as said before or you can fly indor,i f you fly indor you dont have GPS and the drone wil go Atti automaticaly, I recomend to use prop guards and indside a big place with no obstacles.
