Hello,

Is there a way to improve battery time ?  I did some tests, and we are far away from the 15" sold by DJI.
On standing fly, without move, with no wind, nothing (only take off and wait) it stays about 12" max in air.

Have you done some tests about ? Like disable obstacle detection, or something else ?

Thanks for sharing.

Hovering will use up more battery, I think the most you will get out of battery is 12/13 min.

Like hallmark mentioned, hovering gets you to only about 12 minutes.
Fliying around gives you about 2 minutes more.
My max flightime was 14 minutes, the average is 12ish.
With hover, pictures, Panos, video and sport Mode for go and come back

When you say 8/9 minutes are you talking to low battery or critical battery?

The amount of wind, the temperature and the way you fly will affect your max flight time.
Was there a lot of wind?
Were you hovering a lot?
Possibly flying Sports mode?
What temperature was it?
Also till what percentage do you usually fly?

According to our specs, spark can fly 16 minutes at a consistent speed of 12.4 mph if there is no wind or other interference. Please fly your spark in low wind environment.

I think you will find most users max out around 12 minutes of real world flight time.  DJI's quoted time of 16 minutes flight time is under the ideal conditions at the most efficient speed.  In the real world you will be flying with wind and you will not be flying at their perfect consistent rate.  You will be stopping, starting, turning, etc, etc.

I agree with others, I see generally about 12 minutes per battery. I had fly more w/2 batteries, bought 4 more... I go through them quickly so if you want to have a day out without charging, you need lots of batteries.

I think that's why we see most people have four or more batteries. I'm hoping to add more batteries for more flight time. I seem to get around 12 minutes flight time average like most people here. Unfortunately I don't fly in ideal conditions.

Yeah, I'm getting 11-12 min per battery, I got my fly more combo with 2 more batteries I have 4 in total and have just purchased 3 more batteries so I can extend my fun time ;-)

Yup...I'll have 7 batteries soon And I also have a converter for my car so I can use the charging hub from my fly more combo, I hope I can get plenty of flight time when I'm out in the "wild"...lol

I would like to see that...
I never saw doing more than 12", even without any wind.

I agree .. I typically get between 11 to 14 minutes and this depends n prop guards or not, how much hovering and wind.

0 kt wind,  18°C,  1015hpa pressure at sea level.
I use tripod mode (when it works, which is rare because most of time I have "timeout" error when I enable it) with smooth flying, indeed no sport mode, and I'm landing at critical battery warning, then it's about 8/9mn.

The origine one, I can't change it anyway, like usaly dji go 4 bugs,  when I change something he doesn't apply the changes...

I get the same, around 12 minutes flight time give or take.  I usually don't push it and leave it in the air for about 10, recharge batteries at around 20%.
