After an early morning pre-order on Friday, my iPhone X is on the way.  I will get the new phone on Friday and I'm going out of town over the weekend. I had planned on flying my Mavic.  Will that be possible right off the bat with the new iPhone X or should I expect issues that will prevent me from flying until DJI updates whatever it needs to to work with the iPhone X?

Lucky you. Should have mine sometime next Fall. Decided to bypass the 8 and instead wait for the X next year when I renew the cell contract. To answer your question, issue with the X that will prevent flying?, well at this point who knows. Hopefully not but then again sometimes with these SW updates, IMO, I think it's safe to say, I wouldn't be surprised.
