Hi, just a question for the dji STAFF

Is the data link 2.4ghz v1 is compatible with the A2 fc controler ?


Cause when use it with Pc ground station v1.10 or v1.09 , all seem to comunicate well with the a2 but when we simply set the triger option to the A2, it's not work.
All the informations from the A2 on the ground station seem correct (gps position , alti , volt .....)
But can't transfer the setting to the A2 seem like the uplink from ground station not working properly (but we see activity on the Led Data on the ground modem) ....


When we do the same with the same setup with the wookong , it's work normaly.
We test 2 set of v1 data link , same problem....
we test at 5 meters distance and 20 meters to be sure that the modems are not overloaed by rf level....


Please could you confirm if there is a compatibility problem betwhen v1 data link and v2 datalink with the a2 ?
Or if it's only a A2 little bug problem...
We don't have v2 datalink to test it right now...

how can i find out if i have version 1 or 2 of the datalink? I had purchased mine in may.

Plus, the groundstation is only listed as ipad version, when you can actually use it on PC , too. correct?

How did you connect your datalink? Is it to Can2 port of A2?

We will check that point with my friend, honestly we  don't think about this eventuality of bus can difference.

So, is there any difference between the 2 CAN port ? speed or address problem ?

ok more information here

we test with the 2 port on a2
pmu port linked with data link V1

and serialy linked in order :

mix RX , imu, gps, mark II iosd and one of the 3 avaibles port for datalink V1 and other  iosd port with the zenmuze for nex 7.


each time we can't write the trigger option in the a2
Waypoint and patern seem to upload , but not the trigger option

all is working fine with the wookong 5.36...

A2 has the last firmware inside

The Can 1 and Can 2 ports are different.  Can 1 is a high speed port and this is why the IMU and GPS are connected to it.  The Can 2 is a lower speed port and the PMU and LED are connected to it.
I don't think the "trigger option" i.e. F1 currently is working in the GS software.  Terry may be able to shed more light on this.

It seems to be impossible to get a trigger action to work with the A2, that means the photogrammetry tool is not working...

DJI Europe support told me that they are aware of the problem and that there will be a firmware update to fix this, but that was 3 months ago... It's a shame, that the ones who bought a Flagship like the S1000 + A2 + Zenmuse get so little support...

I have no idea what the issue is exactly, neither do i know what component would need a firmware update, i hope someone here can tell us!

the software it's simply impossible to write desired value in the a2

and with the wookong the value to set the triger are a archaic... if someone have the good one ;)


We lost some contract with that problem in orthomosaic mode.....


we bought an dedied timing triggers for nex.... but not a reliable solution


please DJI could you made an upgrade quickly.

Hi Tazdevil,
Ground station datalink need to be connected to the CAN2 port of A2.
And at present, the A2 can not work with the GS` Gereral Purpose Servo functions. We will activate it before early the November.
