Hello.. Yesterday my new battery arrived.. now, the question, do I have to update/upgrade the battery? I've seen video doing that.. but I couldn't find the firmware..
Anywyas I haven't use the battery yet..

Please note that the firmware of battery will be upgraded with the drone. You can upgrade the firmware through SD card. It will takes about 3-4 min in updating your battery.

Hey.. I've checked on the webside, but the only firmware I can see is "Phantom 3 Standard Firmware v01.09.0200", I can't found ta firmware for the battery specifically.

The firmware for the aircraft ALSO updates the battery.   
Just put the .bin file on the SD card.....put it in the P3 and then start up the aircraft.......if the battery needs updating it will take about 2 minutes and the lights on the battery will change for several seconds while it is being updated.

Generally, a message will pop up if the aircraft and battery firmware are not matched. You can slid the bar to refresh the firmware. Feel free to contact us if there is any further questions, we'll be here for help.

I agree with Susan, a message will let you know if you need to upgrade on your drone.
