I'm in my sixties and the Spark is my first drone. Despite my initial frustrations with regard to reliable connectivity and with the video feed on my old Samsung S5 mini mobile, I've now got a new Samsung A5 2017, which with the recent firmware and app updates, has more or less sorted out all the glitches.
I'm now over the moon and totaly amazed by the Sparks stability in gusty winds in the High mountains of Scotland and with the photo and video quality. It took a huge leap of faith to let it fly out from the granite cliffs hundreds of metres above the base of the glaciated corries and much relief when it came back home!
2nd November 2017 - The lovely settled autumnal weather finally gave me chance to fly Sparky high in the Cairngorm mountains. So after a day of climbing and hiking and armed with lots of photos and at least half an hour of video to edit on Windows Moviemaker, I put this together, what do you think?
Great job. I do see a bit of jittering in some of the clips, hopefully in your next video you’ll be able to spot them before being forced to use them in the final cut.

I'm assuming it's pretty windy up there and he may not have had a choice!
I think the comment 're the jittering is a tad over the top but I suppose it's feedback which you asked for. Superb footage and I like your fades. I'm well aware of the leap of faith feeling as I was flying off the coast of Northern Ireland the other day(incredible scenery)and that initial flight over the edge above the Sea was a nervous moment but the spark was flawless and built my confidence.
Magical, had to watch it twice, I live in Northern Ireland and visit Scotland each year with my biking club, we return next April. Really looking forward to seeing Scotland from a different perspective.
Sparky has surpassed my expectations and has been really useful for getting winter climbing crag photos for climbing topos and exploring new unclimbed lines See
