Haha I'll need to do a few more wedding videos to get those coveted chicken dinners! I've only done two of these so I'm just getting started!

Hahahahaha. LOL
Yes, it was a 'pun' intended.
We had great fun that afternoon!

Hmm I couldn't reply to you yesterday, the forum had some problems I guess.

That focus is pretty on point! The Zhiyun Crane 2 just came out, I think, if you want some stability. I'm still waiting on Osmo 2 and will probably jump to that.

Yes, I've considered the Zhiyun as well.
But that would mean I would have to invest in a stabilized lens also.
In general a gimbal does not compensate the smaller motion very well.
I have tested the Crane V2 with my lenses (non stabilized) and it was not as good as I wanted.
Even when balanced properly.
So I decided to start with Osmo Mobile and possibly add another gimbal to my list when I feel the need.

That's good to know! That stuff is never even close to my budget so I never did any research. Would the Ronin-M fare the same as the Crane then?

I guess that is even more stable as you have to hold it with more of your body.
But still the micro jitter is best stabilized in the body or lens. (at least so I saw online)

Videographers would probably make more money with infidelity videos, divorce videos, child support videos, etc...

I love the DSLR look (shallow DOF), but it has some uncomfortable things you have to work around (or find a combination that overcomes this) for video.
1. Stabilization (get a stabilized lens or body and possibly a gimbal + tripod)
2. AF (get a body with on chip phase detection and a decent AF lens)

But if you find a way to work around that you will be making beautiful shots

Hopefully, future cameras will address those uncomfortable things. I've seen reviews of the GH5 being really awesome with terrible auto-focus and low-light perf. I guess we can't have everything, yet!

Yes, that is probably true.
Sony and Panasonic make (on paper at least) great camera's for video (and probably also for video), but I am really hooked to Nikon.
Just love their lenses and body's!

Cool! It's pretty tricky to do shots close to obstacles like the bridge and some trees as flying the drone is stressful enough!
