Thanks for this first review and pictures with the CS 7.85 mounted on this bracket, had to freshen up my German but order is placed, saved some € also, with this solution.
btw, still can't define Handynummer, i gave a phone number??
Crystalsky with DJi Phantom mount arriving tomorrow, will do some testing after the weekend (so far with the P4)!

Yes it means mobile phone number. Have fun with your testing then and I really hope that you will not encounter the problems that some users apparently have with the P4 RC and the CS but others don't. Still unclear what the problem might be...

Today, my badly awaited new mounting bracket for the CS was eventually delivered and I have to say that I am more than happy! 100% what I had hoped for and very comfortable to hold together with the RC. Not heavy either. Fully made of aluminium and not cheap plastic. In the mount that gets screwed onto the CS there is an opening for the USB Type C slot at the bottom of the CS. The opening is large enough, all fits perfectly. And of course you can adjust the angle of the CS according to your preference. It comes together with a little transport/storage bag. In addition it's incredibly cheap in view of the good material it is made of. I got it for less than half the price of my tablet holder.
Here again the link from where I have ordered it (sorry that it is in German): http://www.rcmaster.net/de-remot ... o-spark-p244743.htm
It is manufactured in China and I am sure it is being sold internationally, thus should be possible to find on the big selling platforms.

This mount looks really excellent, and and even more excellent value!

Could the way that is mounted in any way interfere with reception of the antenna?

Looks great...

Cheers...

I didn't have an opportunity yet to fly with it, but I do not expect any problem with the antennas. On my tablet holder where I had the CS mounted before it was much closer to the antennas and there was no interference at all.

Received Crystalskye, charged battery's and did smooth update.
Connected Spark via wifi, no otg, everything was ok, compass, IMU, North was North on the map and red triangle pointed nose of ac in right direction, so i didn't do any calibration so far.
Flying is planned after the WE.
Phantom4 connected with CS via official DJi mount, Compass ok and IMU after warming up also, but DJi Go4 app on CS started right away giving "strong interference" message, every 5 or so seconds.
Didn't have that with Spark on same location, so it is definitely linked with P4 or P4 RC.
Will contact DJi Support for this after WE..

First of all congratulations! And yes, all reports I have seen about this point to the P4 RC. Might be interesting for you to also read the CS subforum here. You'll find it under Accessoires.

Thanks for the CS subforum hint, more Phantom4 series drones seem to have this problem, will continue discussion over there.
One good thing is that Spark and Crystalsky seem to gather well!!

I sent him an email he can only get a crude beta version, he thinks that he may have another route and if does he will post, he also thinks that dji will sort it out soon any word I get I will post.

Short information for those of you who are using the "Screen Recorder" that had been mentioned in this thread. Quite recently (a few days ago)  there has been an update to version 1.1.2.9. Do not install it, it doesn't work either on CS nor any other Android device. Instead, install the version 1.1.3.0, which has been made available shortly thereafter. This latest version is working well again.

Hello to all friends of this thread!
Just returned home from trip to Florida. Unfortunately had not possibility to use my Spark+5.5" CrystalSky, as we travelled with a group ( scheduled trip) and no one there was interested in taking off the Sparky.
So have launched it all at all only once for several minutes. ( flight itself was stable and Spark landed successfully) So conclusion one is - travel alone, if you want to enjoy flying with drone!
Secondly, when arrived to US, i was offered to change the region to US and now after returning home to LV, did not change it back ( just pressed cancel). Now upon a cold start of the system ( AC+RC+CS), i just have to connect OTG cable to RC and CS screen always show 2.4Ghz wifi ( have selected one of 2.4ghz channels, after restart of wifi it couldn't connect with 5.8ghz to remote with wifi, only with OTG)
With iphone wifi did not disappear, only with CS, since it is known Android issue
My question now is it safe to continue with this setup, or better to return to my local region and then use 5.8ghz connection only between RC and AC ( as 5.8 GHZ between CS and RC not supported. In this case with OTG or without the connection AC-RC always remains on 5.8 ghz, providing short range flights?

I do not fully understand your post but what I can tell you is that in FCC standard, the range of the Spark with 5,8 Ghz is the same as with 2,4 Ghz (2 km). Just read the specs. And in 5,8 Ghz you have less risk of interference.

Dear Wachtberger!
The problem is somehow related to the post of Hallmark #141 in this thread. After returning home and without changing back the region, i can't connect to 2.4 ghz through wifi, but unlike with him, i can connect to 2.4 ghz with OTG. With iPhone, same as with Hallmark everything is OK. So the question was, can i stay with US region and simply always use OTG, flying AC with RC and CS?
My english is terrible, i am afraid, sorry for this, but my knowledge of flying drones is even worse.

or you can use 5.8GHz (RC -> AC) which should work without the OTG and should be just as good, if not better (see wachtberger's post about interference).

Have found on internet advice,  how to put the Spark to FCC and keep it that way.The credit goes to Bro Martins. Now when using CS, it  in AUTO wifi select mode ( gives 5,8ghz), but FCC standard . So theoretically can hope to cover about 2km without OTG, just waiting for better weather now. Maybe this is an old info, the sorry for that

Oh, that must be new today then, yesterday there was nothing new vailable yet. I shall check. But first I shall safeguard the 4.1.14 which is on CS right now to be able to reinstall it should that new .18 version be as bad as the one for the other Android devices.

You could try Spark-kiting :-) (just need to avoid cutting the string with propellers)
