Hi,

In December I will be going with my family to the Dominican Republic, I've read quite a few dated posts online about drone laws the Dominican Republic. I was wondering if anyone who's traveled there with a Mavic or lives there could help me.

Thanks in advance.

Here you go fella -http://www.uavsystemsinternation ... public-drone-laws/.   No problems by the look of it as long as you follow the rules. Remember to fly with batteries no more than half charged and lipo bags if possible.

I’ve travelled to both Santo Domingo and Punta Cana with no problems at all in the airport or flying.

I took off from El Malecon in the capital and got some great shots of the city. As well as on some private beaches in the resorts.

The onIy time I was asked not to fly was at Los Altos de Chavon - which is private property and requires authorization.
