I have recently picked up a phantom 2 vision plus ( the next day I see a post on Facebook about the phantom 3 ). But anyhow I have some flight time with cheap micro quads around my house. My question is that if anybody could pitch in some first time tips and also possibly some points to put on a nice detailed check list I can laminate. I have some ideas but like any newcomer I beleive some advice from people with experience is always helpful. Also with the checklist I was going to put the light indicator reference on the back. Once I get it typed up I would be more then happy to share.

I was just thinking after I posted that what if there were a checklist in the app. Now after review I remember going into it when I first got the app. The past two days have been a whirlwind of information because I purchased two different quad copters, the dji and another somewhat cheaper model so I can modify it.
