I've been experimenting with creating moving aerial time-laspe videos. I start my putting the Mavic in tripod mode so it will move really slow. I set the Mavic to shoot stills and adjust my setting in manual mode. Once I've composed my shot and determined my direction of travel, I push the right stick in that direction and hold it in place at full limit. Then, with the other hand I tap the shutter about once every second. At home, I compile the stills in After Effects, make a few adjustments and export them as a 4k movie. Works pretty good!!
Wow, works well. Shame the auto picture taking on mavic is limited to eery 3 seconds because shorter durations would be handy and involve one less finger ;-)

Exactly!! 3-seconds usually isn't fast enough. I wish the Mavic would do an update that allowed faster time-lapse shooting. I'm not sure why they don't since it's capable of recording RAW files every second. Thanks for the feedback!
Amazing.
Now just hope DJI will release a timed shutter that can make xx nr of exposures with intervals where the interval and nr of exposures are variable.
