since I couldn't find an exact answer anywhere I was hoping someone from DJI or some advanced user can help me out:

I want to fly my P4P using my regular set up (remote controller and iPad Mini running DJI Go 4) and at the same time (!) have someone standing next to me see the downlink image on the DJI Goggles.

How do I do that?

That's a bummer, so I need an hdmi output on my P4P controller. Any way to avoid that? I was expecting that since the goggles are from DJI it would be simpler then that.

DJI Goggles support to connect standard P4P RC via USB/HDMI port. I'll attach the tutorial video for your reference.
