I have had alot of disconnects recently, so despite official voices saying that OTG cable are not supported for DJI Spark, I am thinking of going that way.

But when searching the forum, and reading tons of threads - I read that some write that OTG on iPhone / iOS is not supporten anymore.

I have iPhone 8 Plus - can anyone confirm if this is true ?

Also, is the correct cable the DJI Mavic (Lightning) cable ?

It's not supported but it does work! Turn on AC first then RC, connect lighting cable to phone open DJI app and lastly connect OTG cable to RC.

It is not recommended to use OTG cable since it hasn't been fully tested, please select place with less interference to fly the drone.

Your distance and height might be limited and also often it won't save your settings.

just had my first flight with my new OTG cable on iPhone 8 Plus with iOS 11.1 - no issues :-)
