Hi

I have just noticed a red led on the top shell above the front right arm.

It only shows when it turns on then turns off. I have never noticed it before

Any ideas?

I so far fail to understand your post. Could you please post a picture of what you are seeing there? I have just switched on my Spark out of curiosity but did not notice anything that would fit into your description. Thank you for clarification.

I have seen a red glow through the plastic top cover... not sure what it means.... It might be an LED on the GPS module or something.

Same here. It's no doubt a diagnostic LED on the board.

Please provide more details about your problem. Anything with your spark? A video will be great for further understanding.  

I get the same red glow until RC makes connection.
Nothing to worry about.
Obviously a led on main board as LouisP stated.
