Blackout While Photographing
Uploading and Loding Picture ...(0/1)

I haven't been able to find an answer to this question while looking through the various threads.

If I take a photograph while flying my Phantom Vision 2+, the screen is blacked out with a shutter symbol for about four or five secconds. During this time I'm flying blind and I find that a little unnerving. When I download the image, it's perfectly fine so the camera does in fact take the photograph. I just need to know if this is a standard situation or is there a problem with my camera? Do I have some setting incorrectly set? Video, by the way, presents no problems.

So I should be able to correct this situation by shooting JPEG, correct?

I'm shooting RAW. Will shooting Jpeg fix the delay?

This seems to be normal, unfortunately, My inspire is MUCH faster in this regard.

Standard.  The different setting determines how long the "blackout".  RAW is likely a couple seconds where as JPEG 1 second max.
