I attempted to update my new to me inspire today.  I think I did something wrong and need some help.
I downloaded the WM610_FW_V01.11.01.50 zip folder and extracted the .bin file to on the root directory of a micro sd card, then installed it into the camera and started the aircraft while the remote was off.  Now I have nothing but a beep beep (over and over) and no lights showing on the aircraft besides the battery lights.

Anyway for me to correct this?

how long was it on? if it was 20-30 mins I believe the update is complete turn the bird off and check the TXT file on the SD card it should confirm he update was successful or not

It has a lot of lines that all mostly say success or has a current version of the firmware.

Holy crap, it just stopped.  Now yellow tail light flashing continuous.

I don't see what you have done wrong. RC should be off when updating AC firmware. If it does not work now, you should contact DJI, no one can do any more.

Hi, Sean, sorry for the late response because of the time difference.
From your post, the steps are correct and the indicator will turn off sometimes during the update and it is normal.
We recommend to refer to the tutorial video below to verify if the firmware has been updated successfully.
