Hi all, I am sitting with a problem that not all my flight logs want to sync. I have tried the following on my ipad mini, iphone 6 plus.
The sync works if I sync the last month and the last 6 months but on the full sync it fails and want me to retry. I have uninstalled and reinstalled on both devices with no difference. I have tried syncing via 3G/4G and two different Wifi systems (work and home). I have tried to clear all the setting in the app and then do a resync. Also did a logout and login again and tried to sync. I have tried to sync with the drone connected and ready to fly too just to make sure there are nothing that still need to sync.

I have also tried the some of the suggestions on the forum here that I found but no luck. Is there anything I might be missing or is this something that needs to be kicked into action on DJI server side?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Mine was having troubles 2 days ago and I ended up going as far as deleting the app and all flight records (luckily it looks like it was just one flight that wouldn't sync).  When I reinstalled the app, it still didn't work.  Then, later in the day it started syncing when I connected to a different wifi.  Today it failed on me once, but the second time it worked.  Is DJI having trouble with it's servers?

Please find the attached sync video. It fails right at the end. It does sync the 1 and 6 months fine.

It seems like one or more of your flight records may have some corruption in it. Not sure how many records you have but you may want to go into the GO 4 app and see if you can view your earliest flight records from more than 6 months ago.

If I look at all my logs for me phantom and mavic they all have the little cloud icon next to them. I cannot find one that is not synced. But as you say it might be one that is stuck or my side or server side. I am going to install the app now on my Samsung Tab and see if it syncs there. I have tried it on my iphone 6 plus, ipad mini too.

I am running the current version on both my iPad and iPhone

DJI GO 4 App v4.1.17

I have removed and reinstalled the app on both the phone and the iPad just to confirm.

Another thing I picked up while I was testing was the following observation,

When you bring up the flight records, you see the all records and your icon on the top and the growth of value. Now if you swipe to the left you bring up your first drone and if you swipe again you will get your next drone. This is if you have more than one or did have one and sold it.

I had a Phantom 3 and I can see all the flight records there upto the week I sold it. So this is all good. If I swipe back from my Phantom 3 pro to my mavic pro I only see flights that I have done a few months ago but not any of my current ones. Then when I swipe to the all records I see all of them.  So it looks like there is something wrong with my mavic profile. on the server side. If I am on my Mavic flights log page and I do a sync I can see all the logs come through but when the sync fail they all go away again and the sync report the sync error.

We need the log from your App. Here are the steps to get the log file to figure out which special record failed.

1.       Install iTools (https://www.thinkskysoft.com/itools-4-for-windows/ or https://www.thinkskysoft.com/itools-for-mac/ )
2.       Try to sync all your flight logs and wait until it fails. Then connect your devices to your PC/Mac.
3.       Go to Apps->iOS Apps->DJI GO 4 , click Document.

4.       Go to /Document/Tmp, then export the log file and send it to us. Thank you!

I have added a Spark to my collection and that profile was added without problems and I can see all the flight logs for the Spark. It looks like something went wrong with my Mavic pro and its profile. I am only seeing a flight from the 13/05/2017 all the other flights are added under my main profile or all profile. Is there no way to delete the Mavic's profile and then I can re-register my Mavic?

I'm having the "Sync flight records failed" syndrome as well...Android GO 4 v4.1.15(411-gpPhone).

Nope I still have the problem.

It look like there is something wrong with my Mavic's profile. When I sync all logs on my iPhone or iPad it syncs the Sparks and my no sold Phantom 3 pro logs fine but under the Mavic there are only a few logs. But the Mavic's logs are being displayed on the all logs first page.

Its a pain as I would like to get it sorted out.

hey, nope.. still doesn't work. I don't think it is anything we can fix. DJI are already looking into the issue.

I also have 2 records on my DJI Crystal Sky that are not syncing and are failing.

:-(

Hope DJI can figure out what is wrong.  What if I copy the txt file to my phone, which seems to be syncing correctly....will that just goof things up?

Adding a bit here.. Go 4 App 4.1.18, no previous problem, have run 4.1.18 before without a bug.  Flew this morning, 3 flights.  Failed to upload.  Tried again.  Upload 1 flight.  Try several more times.  2 flights fail to upload.  Android version 4.1.18

Thor, I am not sure if this is related but there is definitely a problem with the flight record sync function in the latest update 4.1.18. It only happens with the Mavic, not the P4Pro. All my flight records are showing in the DJI GO 4 app and when I do a sync, they all appear to be synced. However, I also use Airdata and at their end, only the first flight of the day from the Mavic is synced. The rest of the flights are not uploaded and I have to manually upload them to Airdata as they are still in the Flight Record folder on my Ipad Mini 4. I have contacted Airdata, and they say the problem is with DJI not syncing all the flights.
This is a real problem because if anyone has to delete the app and reinstall it to fix some other problem, when they do a sync to get their flight records back into the app, not all of them will be there.

I don't think the sync issue is App version related.
Sync was working fine with 4.15 then had issue last week. Updated to 4.18 and still have the same sync issue...

Its also only happening on the flights I do on my mavic pro. Looks like the profile of my mavic is where the problem is. Hope they can get it to sync soon.

If you have, you can download DJI GO 4 app to that device, log in the same account and sync the records. See if the records will show all on that device.

Interestingly enough, I installed GO4 on my wife's phone, logged with my account...and the fligh sync is working on her phone...

Check your internet connection is stronger and might be there's a issue on the server of the dji. You can try it to sync it again with in 24 hours.

Ok got it...
On my wife's phone, I'm missing the 3 flights that do not have the little cloud on my phone.
Just deleted those 3 flights from my phone and then sync is working again...

I have a Samsung S6 Edge and my wife a Blade E01.Now that I have deleted the flights without cloud, everything is fine.
