Hello there guys,

I want to ask what budget Xiaomi phone or any other budget smartphones that works great with DJI spark?

I don't have much of a budget right now because I already use it for Spark accesories.

Whats your budget? I'm using an Xperia XA1 Ultra, $400 Canadian, that is pretty budget.

Or get a used flagship phone, like the original Nexus 5. Even a used iPhone SE would be fantastic.

I use a Nexus 6p (Huawai). 5.7" screen size and a 4k for background videos. I can recommend it. What I don't like is that google doesn't guarantee any security updates after September 2018 and no guaranteed Android Version update after September 2017. So this is why maybe an older iphone is better, because Apple usually supports their products much longer.

Considering to buy an Iphone but its kind off from my budget haha.

That's the reason why I still use the Nexus 6p. I got a used one from a friend.

If you only use it for DJI Go4, you should have no problems for a couple of iterations. (probably some years)

I bought a Doogee BL5000 because of the screen brightness and the huge battery. The price is incredible as well. Zero problems

Wow...I just saw one of those DooGee phones on Amazon for like $60!!  What a deal!

I would love to know the testing process and how the devices even make it to the bench. Is the Doogee waiting to be tested or has it been tested and didn't make the cut?

I use an iPhone SE with the SIM card removed.  On sale currently at Wal-Mart for $129. (USA)  Works great with Spark.

UPDATE :

I got a Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. Budget phone but with enough power. There's not a single problem to use with DJI Spark so far.

Yep also got Xaiomi redmi note4 32Gig. No issues so far.  

On  budget xiaomis will do fine, i think the screen of an iphone 5 will be to small.

Mi 5x will be a great choice considering the budget. Also, Honor 9i is great but it is a little bit heavy so depends upon your requirement.

Xiaomi MiMax2, 6.4 inch screen!

I use my daily driver which is my LG G5 that I'll be replacing soon. Will keep it dedicated to the Spark tho, works great and you can swap for fresh batteries which is great since the DJI Go app kills battery power like nothing else. It's got flagship specs and is a few generations old so should be able to find one cheap. No issues besides the odd app crash.

Antivirus Support

I used a $39.00 at&t go phone from LG that worked just fine with the spark.  Picked it up at Best Buy.  Had to replace it though as it wouldn't run DJI FLY when I got my Mini.  Otherwise I still use it for the spark.

Xiaomi phone is the best choice in my opinion.
