First of all, english is not my native language,
so there might be some dodgy sentences or choice of words.

That said, on with my Q:
I have the P4 std edition.
- If I choose an Ipad Mini 4 without cellular and GPS,
what will I loose, compared to a mini with cellular and GPS?
- Will any of the intelligent fligth patterns be lost?
- What about RTH, or any of the other safety features?
- I suppose I will loose live maps?

Anything else I have left out that will impact the overall experience?

You will loose some RTH functions and some 'intelligent' modes (like follow me).
You can (if you have one) set up a hotspot to your mobile and still get live maps. Otherwise you will have to download them upfront.

I am having the same doubt. The Wifi only version is (a lot) cheaper....
There are some users here that have the wifi only one and don't care about what they loose.
It's all about one's needs

I use an iPad mini or an iPad pro 9,7, both without cellular. If really necessary I can link to my iPhone, but I usually cache the maps before I go flying. GPS is provided by the ac, google provides the maps.

If you get cellular with GPS the Mini 4 will also come equipped with a barometer which can be useful in some apps like Litchi which support dynamic altitude.

Well, today I bought a IPad mini 4 Wi-Fi only, 128Gb version.
Next Q, should I update the IOS?
