I belong to our local Sheriff's mounted search and rescue unit.  We spend a lot of time exposing our horses to things that might scare them.  Horses, like most of those animals in your video, are prey animals.  Other animals eat them.  So, they have a few million years of instinct that says, "If it's strange, and moves, and makes noise, it probably wants to eat me".  So they are programmed to run away fast.  I exposed a lot of our search horses to my drone.  Just like in the videos, the vast majority of them just stood there but carefully watched the drone - they didn't bolt away like that would for a predator.  The few that reacted did much like some of the animals in your videos.  They stepped back a bit, faced an escape direction, but stayed there with merely a watchful eye on the drone.

Being new to their animal kingdom, the drone could actually be a new sub species of us idiot hobbiests, bothering them with our insignificance and lack of bravado.

We are brave with an RC in our hands. Standing hundreds or thousands of yards away.

Meters if you're one of us Canadian pilots. Haha

Your job sounds interesting and probably exciting at times...

I like it. As you know, it is merely impossible for me to see elephants in the wild...in my city...

here too, if we see wild elephants walking down the streets inbetween the skyscrapers downtown Houston life as we know it is probable over!!

Trump dropped the ban on African animal parts. Probably because both his older sons are big game hunters. Go figure.
