It's a deal no matter what color it is.  Skin it if you don't like the white

looks nice, but why release older specs?  +1 for this with platinum Specs

Just bought it from Apple Store North London! WOW!! In a word!!  What a great deal - three batteries, ten white props and an aircraft sleeve for £1149 - amazing package and LOVE the alpine white colour! Thank you DJI! Time to charge and set up!
EDIT: All set up with no faults - time to fly it on Friday! It looks awesome with the new 8331 gold tipped props too!

Thanks! It looks great and being able to walk into an Apple store and buy it in person on launch day is refreshing to say the least. The serial number dates to late September 2017 and arrived at Apple UK from China last month - they only had a handful in stock and nothing on display - got a feeling they will sell out fast for Xmas then the price goes up in the new year to £1200 and I believe it's a limited edition too so you won't see many white Mavics around + officially exclusive to Apple (for now). I wonder what other colours will come out of the wood work before they hopefully launch the second gen. Mavic next year.

Not a bad price for the combo 3 batteries.  NIce..  I like my Gunmetal Gray Mavic Pro though

So this is how its going to be now, same old models, just in different wrapping?

Does this one have usable 1080/60 like the Platinum?

I don't get it.  I already have a Mavic Pro...   a can of spray paint costs

I second you on ALL THE POINTS...

I can't really justify buying another Mavic but I wish this white colour had been available before. I frequently fly in areas with lots of angry birds that I try to stay away from but they tend to want to attack anything that is not white and that includes the model aircraft. My white P4Pro has no problems at all.

Looks quite nice I agree but as others have said this might be more tricky to see in the bright sky from a distance as it does have less bulk than a Phantom, also all the bug splats will be more visible!

It is a shame that this can come out whilst still having stock shortages on the Platinum! The chassis is the same for all of them so the only hold up on shipping Platinum can be the ESC's, or have they bumped manufacture of the Platinum to bring this one out in time for Winter?

Not sure I understand the situation you were trying to make light of!

Only problem with forums is unless you know the character you are conversing with it's impossible to understand in written form whether that person is joking or not ... I guess thats why 'LOL' and emoji's were invented but if someone forgets to write 'LOL' or add an emoji, it is all to easy to not see the joke that was intended .... also, racial awareness is at it's peak right now especially in the Western world whether you agree or disagree with it is immaterial (I have no idea whether this is the case in the East, so would not like to comment) ...  I guess there are some subjects that should remain off limits as it can get ugly very quickly.

I like it, wish I had an extra grand laying around, doing nothing.

Surprised they used the old Mavic for this. Would've been better to slap the extra $100 and have the Platinum edition shipped out in white, considering they fixed the 1080p/60 fps bug on that one too.

That's a very nice looking Mavic, and the deal is very interesting!! too bad my budget is very limited..But I would for sure like get my hands on one of these.

Had a bit of hassle with customer services though as the Apple site says you only get one extra battery not two. I told them it should come with 3 in total but they said I was mistaken. Eventually customer services contacted a store directly and asked them to look inside a box. They then confirmed that I was correct and their website is wrong!
Can’t wait until Monday now

Congrats! I advised Apple of this mistake on their website too. You'll get 5 pairs of props (not 3 like they state) and 3 batteries (not 2) - it all comes in one complete combo box. Good price too! Massive saving.

They can hardly fill the demand of the MPP but they have plenty of leftover MP around. Just paint them white and sell them as special edition!

Bought it because the price is okay. I think it looks cheap, should at least have a few stripes on the arms like the normal version. But I don't really care about the looks. ;-)

Oh, and today, one day later, Amazon Germany lowers the price of the normal Mavic Pro by ~100 €. Grrr...

Yeah, eager to try it out. First DJI drone since the Phantom 1.

Now I only need to find places where the government didn't yet forbid us to fly. Hey, I can drive a 2.5 ton 450 HP car in this city, but I can't even fly a 250g drone, because daaangerous.
