Hi !

I have a problem with my Inspire 1 pro.

I recently bought a X5R to replace my X5 (I have a customer who need raw dng rushes).
Before that, I already had a lot of problems with my video transmition. Now, it's even worse.

When I power on my drone, something, it says "No Image Transmission signal", and I have to reboot it, until it works. Sometimes, it even happens during flight, in the middle of a shooting.
And when the camera works, I have an horrible dely (Sometime, up to 5 secondes) and a lot of drop frames (making it sometimes impossible to frame right). I'm using the latest iPad and an iPad pro + HDMI ouput for my camera operator.

So far I tried :

- De installing / re installing the app
- Switching the biding from a Tx to the other
- cleaning the connectors

The only thing I couldn't do was upgrading the X5R wich constantly fail to upgrade. I have the version 1.10.1.40 on the camera, and it refuses to install 1.11.1.50

If somebody know what's the problem... Because I'm currently thinking of reselling it and buying a whole other drone...

Have you checked the cable between the gimbal and aircraft to make sure they are tight enough and not damaged? Especially the 8PIN cable.

I also have the X5R.. When i try to upgrade the 1.10.1.40 version to 1.11.1.50 it doesnt work i think its a mistake with there website cause on there upgrading method  it says the Aircraft has to be version 1.11.1.50 and the camera 1.10.1.40 .. mine keep saying you are at the latest update every time i try to upgrade. i even posted it here and i have no answer for that from dji support.. hope you find a way to fix it. Good Luck!

No Signal Resolved

I live in Brazil, in the city of São Paulo and my friend has a Phantom 4 Pro that was without transmission of image, appearing in the display "No Signal", he changed and flat cable of the gimbal and No Sign disappeared and the image transmission returned to this is the solution and I believe that several colleagues have the same problem, so exchange your flat cable and solve this problem.

Garwing, I'm so sorry for the late reply.
If the image issue happens to both X5 and X5R, we suggest to send in the aircraft and gimbal for diagnosis and repair. 15 00 model was failed to be detected, it needs to be sent in.
We apologize for the trouble caused.

Mindy, can you perhaps give me a likely analysis for what may be the problem with the video signal quality to the controller/app/tablet?  And please don't tell me to send it in for repairs.  Based on a lot of water under the bridge on this bird and with as many reported problems as I am beginning to discover, it would seem likely that this is not a unique case and can be easily diagnosed without needing to send it in to some far away land for some long duration of time and receive a likely exuberant repair bill.

Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated!  The Inspire really appears to be quite a solid bird and built for the long haul and I suppose it should be for what it sold for new.

Evidently, the first half of my post was not posted, for some reason which went something like this:

I too have fallen victim of a broken, noisy video picture on my tablet running DJI Go.  I have an I1 RAW that I recently purchased from a gentleman, out of state.  He assured me that everything worked flawlessly, except for a potential problem with the gimbal rolling slightly when the I1 turns left of right.  Powering everything up for the first time, with controller bound and DJI Go running on the tablet, the I1 sitting idle (motors off) on a flat surface outside our home, the fpv feed image on my tablet was extremely broken and fragmented and would grey out almost completely.  After doing a bit of research on the problem and making sure all FW was up to date, I again powered up everything and this time I managed to obtain what appeared to be a stable image.  When I moved the gimbal the image appeared to be stable, but when I picked up the I1 and moved about with it, I again would get a broken transmission image on the tablet (LG GPad 8.3 -  I had read that others have had success using this tablet).  I then took to flight with it and experienced, again, a broken transmission with noise and artifacts, very jittery as if the signal was extremely weak.  I was able to successfully capture both pictures and video.

I cleaned the gimbal mount contacts with alcohol and checked the flat cables attached to the gimbal, removing and then reinserting securely into their sockets.  I was able to see no obvious signs of damage to the gimbal, plugs, wires, etc.  The previous owner reported that their was no accidents or hard landings in it's past.

Try an I pad  ( Something with at least and A-9 processor oar A-10 ) if you can or something with  a. fast processor before you send it in .

9-10 times it is the go app device .  
the person you bought it from had no problems so I bet it is the go app device  ( If you did not update or anything since getting it )

Here are some other options. ( link below )  YOu have a High end system ( Dji Inspire Raw ) so get a hight end go app device  to match .

If the video record perfectly to the SD card or whatevery you record to on tRAw then I would place money it is the go app device, I have seen thei 100 times befpore .
