All finally sorted. Been just a matter of moving the whole update business outdoors, then the prompts fell into line. Strange but good.

Good to hear the issue is sorted out. You can also check the version info to see if you need to update the drone, here is the route: power on the drone, RC and connect to DJI GO 4, Enter Device, General Settings, About, and the latest version for P4 drone is v02.00.0106, RC v1.9.3.0.
