I want to use a monitor for the director when doing a shoot. I can happily plug in my 1080P monitor when shooting 1080 Pand it is fine.


When I shoot 4K, nothing displays on the monitor, even through I set the menu option in Go4 that says output 1080p when shooting 4K.


Anyone done this?

Just to clarify, for 4K, do you mean 4096×2160 or 3840×2160 or both of them?
How about other resolution, like 2.7K?
Does this issue happen to all HDMI monitors?

How long is the cable between RC and monitor?
the cable must be HDMI 2.0 certified, see 2.1 for a 4K resolution.
