I've just updated my DJI Go 4 app becasue it said the Mavic Pro now has Pano mode on it (happy days). But the firmware says it needs to be v1.4.1.0 or above to use this. The current firmware in the DJI Assistant 2 program on my PC only has v1.4.0 on the list. How do it get v1.4.1.0 so I can be able to use Pano mode please ????

LOL i'm bored of waiting. Want it NOWWWWWWWW. Have been waiting for Pano mode for the Mavic since it came out on the Spark.

I'm assuming they'll release the firmware once the Android apps gets released to everyone.

Sadly yes. I wanted to test it out yesterday myself, but I'm also sitting here both without the updated app and firmware.

They never put out anything regarding the new firmware though. I don't understand why they release the Android app in stages and not all at once like iOS, however.

It's not unusual for Android updates to get phased rollouts instead of releasing to everyone at once.

No, not specific to DJI. A lot of apps will have a phased rollout. Even apps like Google Maps will be rollout over days/weeks.

Well, when I take a couple of stills next to each other, Google photos ends up stitching them together for some pretty good panorama shots that automatically get sent to me to either save or not.

I'm curious.  Why do you use DJI Assistant?  I've never even loaded the program.  I update for each new one, including the latest a few days ago, directly from DJIGo4.0.

Using DJI Assistant is much faster for firmware upgrade

Is it? This most recent updater took 20-25 minutes for me via Go 4, including download time.

Depending on your download speed
Firmware download took me 3 minutes

If you use drone + controller once your phone download the firmware then it takes time to transfer to MP  via WiFi vs Transfer via Cable
overall took me less than 15 minutes for upgrade

I find it easy much comfortable with DJI Assistant
but then it's depending on every Individual preferences
