Can anyone recommend a lap top that will edit the inspire 4k video, I will be using Premier pro. Budget is quite tight at £1000.
It is my understanding that I don't necessarily need a 4k monitor, when editing I will be viewing my time line in HD but when finished I can export my project onto disk and view an a 4k compatible device, is this right?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

a Macbook Pro 13" will handle editing Inspire footage just fine. Buy a Thunderbolt External and leave your native-source files on there. If you're using Premier Pro edit with the viewer at 1/4th or even 1/8th resolution and you should be fine.

That will work fine. Inspire h.264 4K files aren't THAT heavy on the processor.

That's a good processor and better yet, a killer graphics card, (dedicated ddr5 ram)

Forget about the HDD and get all SSD - (it is a different animal altogether)
(you can get tons of external storage and a 1tb HDD on your machine is a waste of $$$/space.)

Please look at the *options for that machine and see if you can select only 500g SSD, you will be happy you did -
