Pre ordered the phantom 3 pro, wondering what the range will be after all this talk of being stuck  in ce mode? Anyone any ideas

Some say it won't be an issue, as antennas are more important than power. I've heard you'll get 2 km+ in areas without too much RF-noise, even in CE-mode. Let's hope that's true.

Hopefully same range as Inspire 1.

With the DJI Go app I always fly between 300-1200m without any problem. (Not even clear LOS)

Europe ("we" are not allowed to send/receive on full power) - I think they think we are loosing our hear

haha  okey. so in usa they can fly  upp to 5km and we others only up to 2km?

I am also from the Netherlands and I did a 3,9 km in december. Had to turn due to the battery, no loss of connection.

What  brand of windsurfers did you purchase, as I have heard that some don't work as well as others ?

This is the one you want right here for a phantom 3 pro.  I have had very good luck. When I get to going out a long distance I can Snap it on in a jiffy, and then remove it as it gets closer to home, because it does not work well in close up environments.
Also he has some good data to back up his claims, and I appreciated that.
