8 hours later and no explosion on the forums.  I guess that is how excited people are about putting this great big heavy lump of GOGGLE on your head with no eye adjustments to race your FPV quad at great speed through loops and poles.  Sorry, but a total redesign was absolutely required to capture the FPV market.

Honestly, I have old DJI Goggles and I planning to buy fat shark Goggles for fpv racing. Price for new Goggles from dji could be to high. I dont need two pairs occu sync goggles.

Does this mean DJI is coming out with a racing drone also? I saw the new Snail motors, those are not in any current drone right?

Doesn't look like. The DJI camera/transmission system is if you want to have full OccuSync system in your home built.

As they stated it has 12 channels for analog transmission and DJI Grace confirmed that can link with Fatshark bands. The question for me is, the exact frequencies on which it can receive and switch in these 12 channels.

There are up to 19 channels (5.8 GHz: 12 channels, 2.4 GHz: 7 channels) for digital video transmission, and each bandwidth is 10 MHz. You can select the transmission channel manually to avoid interference from other devices.

really need to know what channels this thing will receive.  can any of the mods let us know for certain?  without all the raceband channels, you don't stand a chance of breaking into the race industry.  that occusync module is far too large and heavy to place in a race quad.

sorry, only the Mavic series can be applied wirelessly. Other aircrafts demand USB cable to connect.

Please note that you can long press the screen and a blue circle will show up, you can drag it up and down to control the gimbal. Or you can calibrate the remote controller and turn the gimbal dial. If settings are normal, then the gimbal dial works normally. More questions, please inform us.

As the 1ST FAI WORLD DRONE RACING CHAMPIONSHIPS in 2018 are awarded to SHENZHEN, it is unlikely that a world's leading drone company that has its main corporate location at the same place, not having an adequate racing drone available.

Good addition to the goggles. I was a little peeved at first when I saw this but then read the full post. These are excellent if you have the race quads but why so big ?? There is also a mention to the fact that the image quality is far superior to the Fatsharks. Brilliant if you fly both DJI and the uber quick race quads but still the issue of the total immersion and the possible need for the spotter. As far as my experience with race quads go, there are no spotters in a group as they are all racing themselves. The colour and connectivity is spot on though and should have been like this to start with. I still love flying my Mavic with the normal ones though. maybe this is a step DJI is taking to further step into the world of race quads, seen as they have started with the race motors a few months back. Will we be seeing a full race quad in the future........It's maybe a possibility to then corner the market with both the current range and a competitive racing frame or RTF version.

So for everyone out there wondering about the Goggles versatility and analog bands capacity.

Today I went to the flagship store in Shanghai and the guys there as always provided me with super amazing service. One of the technicians was able to contact one of his colleagues back at the factory in Shenzhen and the information goes as follows.

DJI Goggles RE:

- Receiving Bands Capability: A, B, C, E & F.

Band A: Team BlackSheep, RangeVideo, SpyHawk, FlyCamOne USA.
Band B: FlyCamOne Europe.
Band C: Raceband.
Band E: HobbyKing, Foxtech.
Band F (Airwave): ImmersionRC (FatShark), Iftron.

- The Goggles have the capacity Auto-search thru the bands and channels and link to the one your transmitter is transmitting. And also you can tune it manually by going thru the channels and bands.

- The 7 Channels available at 2.4GHz are for use and direct link with Conventional Hobby Transmitters such as Futaba, they are described in the product spec page of DJI. This allows transmitters using SFHSS communications protocols to send back telemetry to the glasses from your drone using either OccuSync or SFHSS (receiver) with telemetry enabled.

So I was considering selling my first gen DJI goggles and buying a set of RE to use FPV freestyle and my Mavic pro platinum.
Thought I should ask; is there any reason the RE and originals cannot connect to my MPP simultaneously so that I could keep the originals for a ridder?

1. can i connect the Googles to pc directly and Play games, how ? Wifi? HDMI Cable? RJ45 Network?
2. so the Googles are recognized by PC as Monitor or what?
3. which Video modes are available when connected directly to pc?  fullHD at 60Hz or more? 120Hz?  (remember PSVR Image doubler box from 60 to 120Hz)
4. which positional tracking ? 6DOF? readable by PC ? which protocolls?

if you dont have such a product yet, i would like to see such one, from dji...
